Life is terribly fragile, darling. Best not to become too attached.

As part of our ongoing collaboration with photography studio, Veneration of Light. This wonderfully peculiar vintage decorative china plate presents an elegant meditation on life, death, and everything unfortunate in between.

Against a deep, shadowy background, a delicate arrangement of colorful flowers hovers above a solitary egg, while a weathered human skull rests below. The composition is both beautifully surreal and unmistakably macabre.

An extravagant ivory and gold floral border surrounds the imagery, creating a striking contrast between refined vintage porcelain and the eternal inevitability of death.

Perfect for collectors of memento mori art, gothic decorative plates, vanitas symbolism, dark academia decor, and unusual vintage curiosities.

A splendid reminder that all beautiful things are fleeting. Except, perhaps, one's impeccable taste.

Vintage. One of a kind.
