A position of great honor. And occasionally fatal consequences.

Every royal household requires someone willing to take the first sip. Preferably someone expendable.

This charming porcelain teacup and saucer is adorned with delicate wildflowers, airy botanical illustrations, and soft springtime colors. Its elegant exterior conceals a rather suspicious appointment: "Royal Taster," inscribed inside the cup.

A whimsical nod to royal intrigue, poisoned chalices, and the perils of serving powerful people, this beautiful botanical teacup brings a touch of dark historical humor to the most civilized tea table.

Perfect for lovers of royal history, gothic humor, unusual tea gifts, and anyone who wisely prefers someone else to sample the refreshments first.
