One can never have too many beautiful things. Particularly when some of them are slightly disturbing.

As part of our ongoing collaboration with photography studio, Veneration of Light. An extraordinary vintage decorative china plate featuring a wonderfully eccentric still life of delicate flowers, antique books, a mysterious carved figure, a moth, and assorted natural history curiosities.

Soft pink and ivory blossoms spill across a dark, atmospheric background, while an elaborate gold floral border lends the entire composition an air of aristocratic extravagance.

A delightful celebration of the Victorian obsession with collecting strange and beautiful objects, this unusual plate would be perfectly at home in a cabinet of curiosities, a gothic library, or the drawing room of a particularly eccentric collector.

Ideal for lovers of dark academia, Victorian natural history, gothic home decor, and one-of-a-kind vintage china.

Vintage. One of a kind.
