Listen, lovelies, when one of the most glamorous women in the world asks you to design a teacup with her, you don't hesitate. You say, “Oui, Mademoiselle. It would be my sincere pleasure.”
The Dita Von Teese Limited Edition Teacup and Saucer is a collectible vegan china tea set created in collaboration with Dita Von Teese and Miss Havisham's Curiosities. Inspired by Dita's legendary burlesque costumes, vintage glamour and exquisite eye for detail, only 1,000 sets were produced.
Working with Dita and drawing inspiration from her incredible body of work has been one of my favorite projects to date. Not only does she share my love of tea and all things vintage, she also has an exquisite eye for detail, a wicked sense of humor and her very own cat posse.
Our petal-shaped teacup and saucer are individually cast in vegan china designed to recreate the look and feel of traditional bone china without animal bone. Each set is finished with hand-painted gold details inspired by Dita Von Teese's costumes, creating a piece that feels equal parts vintage tea service and showgirl glamour.
